When me and my brother were younger, and therefore more ordinarily biddable, our parents would always take us on painfully protracted, character building road trips on weekends and school holidays. These weren't always so bad - once in England, we drove all the way to Edinburgh - but they were very, very long. To stave off the boredom, my brother and I would make mixtapes of our own to play in the car, often spending hours the night before frantically compiling our favourite songs of the moment. This tape is far more recent, and I think was put together by my brother for a trip down south of Western Australia somewhere. A very strange mixture of stuff (Divine Comedy, Scott 4, Sebadoh, um Garbage) but you see, we had to do something to pass the time...
