The Listeners

We made these tapes for an illustration exhibition which we collaborated on in September 2006 called 'The Listeners', which was held at the Keith & Lottie gallery in Northbridge, Perth.

The idea was that we were to make a mixtape of 10 songs for each other, and then we had a few weeks to do a drawing for each track we were given. This made the process of putting the tapes together pretty tricky, as it was impossible to ignore the fact that someone would have to create new art for each song. At the end of the process, though, it was really cool just to look at each others' drawings and 'see' the songs through the other person's eyes.
